A 34-year-old man in Bristol has left his vacuum
cleaner in exactly the same position in his flat for
fourteen days.

Matin Durrani of Richmond Terrace first left his Dyson
machine in the North Tracept of his flat when visited
by a mystery German woman.

The revolutionary clearning device has since then been
gathering dust in the corridor where it has been deemed
a potential fire hazard.

"I just keep thinking I must move it when the phone
rings and I get distracted for the next two hours,"
said the pervey bloke.

Instead of packing the cleaner in his cupboard, the
lazy git has since then been stepping over it.

Friends of Durrani have, however, leapt to his defence.
"I've had this dodgy plug on my fridge and it took me
four days to sort it out," said Katja Schürmann, a
30-year-old Bavarian chess champion.

"That just shows how difficult it is to find the time
to move household implements."

Sources close to Schürmann reveal that she has also
left a bottle of in the same position on her fridge for
the past year and a half.

And Schürmann is believed to have travelled without
moped documents for EIGHT months.

Copenhagen police add that she is their prime suspect
in what has now become known Operation Boiled Eggs,
launched after a mystery guest ate secret breakfasts at
a top Danish hotel.
